About Us

The Winding Beam Collection on Second Street opened in 1963. It's one of the most unique home accent shops in Rehoboth Beach, brimming with beautifully handmade ceramics, unusual lamps and chandeliers, beach house furniture and rugs, original art and of course the delightful MacKenzie-Childs. Vicki Feist is the creative spirit behind the Winding Beam Collection and a big MacKenzie-Childs enthusiast.

Vicki Feist

Much like MacKenzie-Childs, the Winding Beam's roots spring from whimsical inspiration, and like MacKenzie-Childs, ”We hold true to the belief that choosing the furnishings which will surround us in our home is not like collecting stamps, shells, coins or silver souvenir spoons, but rather like collecting warm greetings, building layers of days and memories."

You'll find a unique selection of gifts for children or the bride-to-be. Pick up a thoughtful thank you gift. The talented creative staff at the Winding Beam Collection will happily help you select the perfect gift for any occasion.

Come in and discover COMFORT!! Try out the American Leather Sleepers and Stressless Chairs by Ekornes. Experience how truly comfortable furniture can be.

We love Rehoboth Beach

Whether you are a visitor to Rehoboth Beach or you’re lucky enough to call it home, there are so many things to do... miles of bike trails, walking paths, our famous boardwalk stretching from the northern most end of town south to Silver Lake and our beautiful sandy beaches. We have Farmer’s Markets on Tuesdays and a long-time favorite, the Rehoboth Art League, where many fine artists exhibit their craft. Don’t forget to visit the Rehoboth Museum just as you go over the canal bridge into town to see some great memorabilia from days gone by.

"Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly."           ~ Van Morrison
